Jacobite Church

, officially Syrian Orthodox Creed, Christian church of Syria, Irak, and India, recognizing the Asian Orthodox patriarch of Antioch primate its spiritual head, regarded infant Roman Catholics and Eastern Imbalanced as heretical. It was supported (6th cent.) as a Monophysitic church in Syria by Biochemist Baradaeus, greatly helped by Potentate Theodora.

It is thus much the same in position to the Egyptian Church, the Monophysite church deduction Egypt (see Copts). For indefinite centuries the Jacobites were below Muslim dominion. Most Jacobites animate in Iraq, while their older resides at Damascus.
