Early Life and Education
Ibrahim Shekarau, the son of a control officer, was born in Kano’s Kurmawa neighborhood.
He attended Gidan Makama Primary School (1961–1967), Kano Advertizement College (1967–1973), and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1973–1977) where misstep completed his education and just a degree in mathematics/education.
